Trust is such a fragile thing.
Like a piece of glass, or ice
Or a sugar crystal.
It takes time to build.
And can be shattered
in one small breath of a moment.
Once broken, it is true,
That it is possible to rebuild.
But like the glass glued together
It has weak points
It is never really the same.
And sometimes, you lose
little pieces, lost forever
in the carpet of the past.
